Seed Cycling For Hormonal Balance

Irregular periods & PCOS have become common amongst young women in this last decade. These conditions usually crop up due to hormonal imbalances in the body. If left untreated, it usually causes pregnancy related issues and health problems.

Seed Cycling is the new trick in the game that has produced great results to bring a hormonal balance.

It's a natural healing process which brings balance to the endocrine system. An improved endocrine system means proper digestion, good sleep & overall regulation of hormones. It essentially balances estrogen and progesterone levels with the help of seeds. So how do these seeds fix those irregular periods?

So the alternative remedy happens in two phases : the follicular phase and the luteal phase

The Follicular phase starts from the first day of the menstrual cycle until the 15th day. During this phase, you are to eat 1Tbsp each of Flax Seeds and Pumpkin Seeds regularly. Now, both these seeds have lignin present in them, which promotes estrogen levels in the body.

The Luteal phase starts from the 15th day to the 28th day of the menstrual cycle. During that time, you must eat 1Tbsp each of Sesame Seeds and Sunflower Seeds. These seeds have progesterone in them which is required by the body during this time.

Now the seeds are to be eaten every day, raw and ground. Whole seeds won't break down fully, so grind them. That also enables your body to extract more nutrients from the seeds. You could eat them as is, to add it to your smoothies and salads.
