Cheese has been a favourite since I was little. Adding cheese on to a toasted bread, enjoying a bowl of cheesy pasta..... or sometimes just eating a cheese slice as is.... oh, what a beauty cheese is! But everything went onto another level when Cheese Powder was brought into our lives. Almost like we met the CheesePowder and then.... everyone lived happily ever after! So the other day, I made this Cheese Dip because Cheese is Awesome, and everything must have cheese in it ... ha But seriously, I think it's a lovely way to eat more veggies. We made some whole wheat crackers on the side too. And with this cheesy delicious dip, everything became so much yummier!
So read along and make this super cheesy and super tasty dip .... INGREDIENTS
Coconut Milk 1/2 Cup
Butter 2 Tbsp
All-Purpose Flour 1 Tbsp
Cheese Powder 1 Tbsp
Step 1 Put in butter in a heated saucepan. While it melts add in the All Purpose Flour and whisk so lumps don't get formed.
Once it looks done and gives a whiff of being cooked, turn off the gas. Now, add in the Milk and Cheese Powder and mix it.
Once it is fully mixed, it might look a bit runny. So to thicken it up and get the perfect dip like consistency, heat it up on the stove for about a minute or so. While you do, continue whisking it otherwise it will get lumpy.
Once you feel it's the right kind for how you'd like your dip to be, put in a bowl and keep in the fridge so it becomes nice and cold. Enjoy it with sliced veggies & some crackers, or as a filling isn your rolls and sandwiches!
