Rosemary-Lemon Sorbet

Updated: May 4, 2021

Summer means cold desserts after a nice dinner meal.

I've grown up craving something sweet after dinner, it's almost tradition you could say. Even back in school I remember wanting an Ice-Lolly for that walk back home. This summer though, I'm re-creating my childhood experiences...only this time with healthier ingredients.

  • Jaggery (You could use honey too) 1 Cup

  • Water 1 Cup

  • BOHRosemary 1/2 Cup

  • Lemon Juice 1/2 Cup

  • Vodka (Optional) 2 Tbsp

  • Fresh Mint To Garnish

Step 1

In a Saucepan combine Water & Jaggery. Stir until the jaggery is fully combined.

Step 2

Once done, remove from the heat and add in Lemon Juice, BOHRosemary and Vodka. Stir well and let it cool down to room temperature.

Step 3

Once its cooled down, put it in a freezer proof container and freeze in it.

Step 4

Every hour or so, open the container and stir your sorbet. It's important to do that as that adds a night airy texture to it.

Step 5

Once you feel it's the right amount of frozen, garnish with fresh mint and serve.

Hope you enjoy this summer delight!
