From Water to Super-Water

Updated: Dec 4, 2020

In the age of modern medicines, where we run to medical stores to take a pill to cure even minor health issues, it's better to call up your mother or grandmother and ask what they would do in the same condition. This does not mean that you would not need to take any medicine but then medicine consumption would only provide temporary relief from the symptoms, rather than providing you with a long-term solution.

The idea to prepare super-water is to extract important oils of the plant which have several healing properties into the water. Water is considered as a powerful therapeutic tool, whereas herbs & spices have been used for centuries to treat different health concerns by simple method - SOAKING. To prepare your super-water, you just have to soak some herbs in a jug full of water, leave it overnight, and drink it in the morning. You can also mix powdered herbs into the water and drink.

CLOVE AND BLACK PEPPER WATER

Clove contains eugenol that is known to promote digestion and speeds up metabolism. Good digestion is one of the key factors for speedy weight loss. Also, black pepper is loaded with a compound called piperine. It is known to accelerate metabolic performance and lowers the rate of fat accumulation in our body. With its anti-inflammatory properties, this is also recommended to throw toxins out of the body.

LEMON & CHIA WATER

This mixture is super refreshing and perfect for pre or post-workout when you need a little more hydration in your body. Chia is the ultimate hydration source as they absorb about 12x their weight when soaked in water which makes them an excellent source for re-hydration when consumed with lemon water, not to mention their high source of protein and their ability to provide one with maximum energy with minimum calories. Lemon has a high concentration of vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants which provides a healthy boost of energy and replenishes nutrient loss during workouts.

GREEN CARDAMOM WATER

Cardamom is known to stimulate the secretion of bile acid in the stomach, which helps in digestion and proper fat metabolism. The cooling effect of cardamom despite being a spice can help in relieving acidity. Along with this, cardamom can also help in treating gastrointestinal issues like indigestion, nausea, stomach pain, and spasms.

CUCUMBER & GINGER INFUSED WATER

One of the best detox waters and very easily prepared. The cucumber contains very good anti-inflammatory properties and when infused with water makes it an excellent source for rehydration and the ginger makes it easier to clean the system which helps in settling your stomach. Hand in hand both ingredients have amazing antioxidant and immune-boosting effects. This detox water can surely benefit you with good skincare, better weight loss, and relieving pains.

ALOE VERA WITH WATER

Aloe vera juice is a powerhouse of micro-nutrients that help fight against free radicals that can do damage in your body, further giving a boost to your immune system. While water is our go-to friend, adding some aloe vera to your regular water in the morning can not only help you re-hydrate but also energize your metabolism. It contains vitamin A, E & c with antioxidants. It has been proven to have antiviral and immune-stimulating effects.

WHEATGRASS JUICE WITH WATER

Comprising 98 of the 102 earth elements found in soil, including calcium, iron, magnesium, potassium, and phosphorus along with essential enzymes and 19 amino acids, wheatgrass is a power-packed supplement. Regular consumption of wheatgrass helps stimulate the thyroid gland, which boosts metabolism, provides more energy, and aids in weight loss. The natural anti-aging properties of wheatgrass help rejuvenate cells, take care of sagging skin, maintain skin elasticity and keep you looking younger.

In the rapidly changing lifestyle and the fast-moving world when you barely get any time to take care of yourself and to do anything special for you, herbal water is a life savior that helps to detox your body and improve your immunity. Moreover, the easy availability of household spices and herbs makes them easily accessible, completely organic, cost-friendly, and a sound way of maintaining your health at its best.
