Creamy garlic penne pasta

This Creamy Penne Pasta Recipe is a super easy and delish 30-minute recipe made with penne pasta smothered in a garlic butter cream sauce.

It’s really easy to cook this creamy, luscious homemade white sauce. You’ll need a large pan or kadhai (Non-stick) and the following ingredients:




INGREDIENTS

  • Salt and pepper According to taste

  • Butter 2 tsp

  • All-purpose flour 2 tsp

  • Fresh garlic 2-3 cloves

  • BOH Garlic Powder 3 tsp

  • Vegetable Broth or Pasta broth 1/4th cup

  • BOH Chilly Flakes 5 tsp

  • Heavy cream 1 cup

  • Freshly grated parmesan cheese/ Processed Cheese 1/2 cup

  • Penne Pasta 8 Ounces

  • BOH Oregano According to taste

  • Vegetables of your choice

PREPARATION Step 1

Heat olive oil in a pan on a low or medium flame. Once melted, whisk in the flour. Allow the flour to cook for a minute before adding the garlic, followed by the veggie broth or pasta broth (you can even add white wine).


Step 2

Stir in the cream and simmer for a minute or two before adding the parmesan cheese. Season with salt and pepper, to taste.

Add BOH Chilly flakes, BOH Garlic Powder.


Step 3

Simultaneously in a pot of boiling salted water, cook penne pasta. Once the penne is cooked, reserve at least 1 cup of hot salted pasta water before draining. Use it to thin the sauce if it becomes too thick.


Step 4

Toss sauce through the pasta and simmer uncovered for 5 minutes on medium heat.

Then add BOH Oregano.


Step 5

Serve your pasta and eat like an Italian!
