Bag Of Herbs White Sauce Pasta

White Sauce Pasta (or Bechamel Sauce Pasta, as it is more technically known) is the most loved Pasta among all. Although it is sometimes confused with Alfredo Pasta, it is a little different from Alfredo Sauce owing to the method and the cheese used. White Sauce Pasta


Preparation time 8 minutes

Cooking time 12 minutes

Serves 2

Ingredients

For the Sauce:

1. Butter 10 gms

2. BOH Garlic Powder ½ teaspoon

3. Wheat flour 1 ½ tablespoon

4. Processed Cheese 20 gms

5. Milk 1 cup

6. BOH Oregano Seasoning ¼ teaspoon

7. BOH Basil ¼ teaspoon

8. BOH Chilly Flakes ¼ teaspoon

9. Salt To taste

10. Crushed black pepper ¼ teaspoon


For the Veggies:

1. Oil 1 tablespoon

2. Onion ½ cup

3. Broccoli ½ cup

4. Red Capsicum (Bell Pepper) ½ cup

5. Green Capsicum ½ cup

6. Boiled Sweet Corn ½ cup

7. Mushroom ½ cup

8. Green Olives ¼ cup


For the Pasta:

1. Olive oil 1 tablespoon

2. Salt ½ teaspoon

3. Pasta 150 gms

4. Water 4 cups

5. BOH Oregano To Taste

Preparation

Step1: In a pan filled with water, add 150 gms of pasta, 1 tablespoon of olive oil and 1 teaspoon of salt. Now boil the pasta till it is only a little firm, and not completely soft. Once the pasta boils, strain it and keep it aside.


Step2: In another pan, heat some oil, and sauté the onion, and add broccoli, mushroom and capsicum, and heat till the onions are medium brown. Keep aside.


Step3: In a fresh pan, heat some butter and add BOH Garlic Powder. Sprinkle the wheat flour in such a manner that lumps are not formed, and keep stirring the mixture. Add the milk slowly to the mixture.


Step4: Stir the mixture and add grated processed cheese, BOH Oregano Seasoning, BOH Basil, BOH Chilly Flakes, salt and black pepper. Add the sautéed vegetables and stir. Add the green olives and sweet corn. Finally, add the pasta.


Step5: Sprinkle some BOH Oregano and grated cheese. Serve it hot with some wine to go along with it.
