
Bag of Herbs Vegan French Toasts

Sunday breakfasts at ours are all about eggs. Having French toasts while growing up has been one of my favourite ways to have egg.... but lately I've been making this shift into turning Vegan, in whatever capacity I can and I got to say, it's been a delight to have discovered a way to make French Toasts without Eggs.

Made these delicious and super easy Vegan French Toasts today with BOHFlaxSeeds ... and absolutely loved it!
INGREDIENTS
Almond Milk (or any milk that suits you best) 1 Cup
Crusty Multigrain Bread 4 Slices
BOH Flax Seeds 1 Tbsp
Almond Butter (or any of your choice) 1 Tbsp
Olive Oil 1 Tbsp
Cinnamon (optional) 1 Tsp
PREPERATION Step 1 Blend in Almond Milk, BOHFlaxSeeds, Almond Butter and Cinnamon in a blender until smooth. Step 2 Heat Olive Oil in a pan on medium flame. Step 3 Pour the mixture into a bowl and dip in the Crusty Bread in it for about 15 seconds. Now if you are using soft bread it would get soggy in the mixture and would start breaking. Which is why it's essential to have sourdough bread or multigrain breads which are slightly thick and crusty. You could even try using old bread slices. Step 4 Cook the soaked bread in the pan for about 2 minutes on each side, or until it's golden brown. Step 5
Serve with your favourite toppings. I had mine with blueberries and some crushed nuts. Special Sunday indeed!
