A sweet treat after dinners is something we've been indulging in very often these past few days. No guilt and no regrets about it of course. But every now and then we try to make it healthier in whichever way possible.
This 'No Bake Yogurt Dessert' turned out to be quite yum, and for me it's one I'd be happy to eat at any time of the day.
Pitted Dates 1 Cup
Almonds 1 Cup
Greek Yogurt 2 Cups
Honey 1 Tbsp
Cocoa Powder 1 Tbsp
Mangoes 2 chopped mangoes (or fruits of your choice)
BOHBreakfastMix to sprinkle on top
Step 1 Grind the Dates & Almonds in a grinder till it becomes like a sticky dough. Add in the Cocoa Powder to the mixture.
Put the mixture on the base on your dish. (I made this in a bigger dish and in a smaller bowls so it eats well. So see what works best for you. The date & almond mixture comes together nicely as the slightly crunchy, sweet base to the dish.)
Once done keep your dish in the freezer for about 20-30 minutes so it settles well.
Now put in a layer of the greek yogurt. If you like you can mix Honey in the greek yogurt to make it sweet through out, as the yogurt itself doesn't have added sugar.
Top it up with your choice of fruits, sprinkle the loved by all, BOHBreakfastMix and a drizzle of honey to finish.
Breakfast Mix in a dessert... or a dessert I wouldn't mind eating for breakfast!
